Wednesday's computer session - ESO 4 (Ms Sol's group)

This is what you're going to do in today's session:

 

ACTIVITY 1

1. Go to ESO 4 - Grammar and Vocabulary - unit 5C - Exam revision. 

2. Download the revision worksheet and save it on the desktop (escriptori) under your name.

3. Do the revision worksheet together with your partner.

4. Upload the finished worksheet onto the wiki. How can you upload a document?

a) Log in.

b) Click on Edit.

c) Click on Images and Files.

d) Click on Upload File.

e) Click on the file you have uploaded and you'll see it appearing on the wiki.

 

ACTIVITY 2

1. Go to ESO 4 - Grammar and Vocabulary - unit 5C - My Real Me.

2. Read the texts your classmates have written and write a comment for each of the texts guessing who it's by (who wrote it). 

For example, you could write: I think person number 1 is ...

3. Try to correct the mistakes highlighted in red. Remember that to change the text you need to click on EDIT to start and when you finish on SAVE.

Remember to use a different colour to identify yourself. For example, if you make any changes, highlight them in green and add a note saying Green corrections are by ... (your name).

 

ACTIVITY 3

 

When you are finished with My Real Me, do the following:

1. Go to ESO 4 - Grammar and Vocabulary - unit 5C - Toondoo activity

2. Read the other groups' predictions about the comic strip and try to correct the mistakes highlighted in red. Remember that to change the text you need to click on EDIT to start and when you finish on SAVE.

Remember to use a different colour to identify yourself. For example, if you make any changes, highlight them in green and add a note saying Green corrections are by ... (your name).

3. Read the comic strip and see whose predictions were the most accurate.

4. Write your opinion on the comic strip by adding a Comment in the Comment section. Remember that any changes you make are automatically notified to my email address, so BE NICE!
