THE FREESTYLE SKI 

HISTORY 

The freestyle ski, started with a similar sport that call´s ``hot dog´´.

Freestyle ski as we know it, started in 1995 in the Rocky mountains (USA), by a hot dogger called Warren Miller, that was invented the first skis specialicet in freestyle.

With all the changes in the equipment, accebility of the terrain and most important, the segurity and preparation of the slopes, makes that, skiing today is not what long time ago was.

The freestyle ski is a extreme sport, you do what you wont, and you can try the pace that you wont.

EQUIPMENT

The equipment you need to do freestyle skiing is similar to urban clathes.

Normally the clothes are baggy.

The skis have doble tip and the poles are small.

LANGUAGE

RIPPER - someone that do freestyle ski.

JIBB - it is the same as jumping.

RAIL - a thing that you pas adove, like a railing.

SWITCH - go to the back way.

STEP UP - a jump that has an elevate reception.

STEP DOWN - a jump that has a reception that go down.

FAVOURITE FREESTYLE RIPPER

My favourite ripper is Agmet Dadali because he never got scared and he is such a fantastic person, friendly an honest.

He was born in 1991 in park city (USA).

He became world chapion in 2009 when he won a gold medal in the winther X games.





FREESTYLE SKI AND ME

Cronology:

2002: alpine ski

2008: start doing freestyle

2010: win Catalonia cup and do the second best score of Spain

2011: participe in the European freestyle championchip

2012: do the thirt best score in the European freestyle championchip

this comming 2012 summer: participate in the international  freestyleski championship (windells, USA).
