TABLE TENNIS (Ping-pong)

HISTORY:

Ping-pong first appeared in the 1870s. It was the tennis players of England who started play ping-pong because it rains a lot in the UK. In the 1884 F.H. AYRES LTDA started to make little tennis game for the living room. Other companies tried to patent some games like the actual table tennis but finally Jhon Jaques LTDA was who succeeded more.

EQUIPEMENT:

To play ping-pong you need: the table, the ball and the racket.

The official table is 2,74x1,525m, 0,76m tall and 22mm of thickness. The net is 15,25cm tall. The official balls, with the ITTF mark are 38mm and 2,7g, they are orange or white.

The rackets are made of wood with two elastic parts, one red and the other black .

FAVORITE PLAYERS:

My favorite player is Long Ly Yi. He isn't very famous but he's the third classifier of Catalonia. I like him because he trains in the same place as me and he trains my friend, he's very friendly.
