The first quote is by the 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, who was the youngest president of the USA ever.

The second one is by Audrey Hepburn, a British actress (although she was born in Belgium) and humanitarian. She was an icon and a female screen legend in the history of American cinema.

If you want to know more about them you can see this links:

In my opinion this two quotes are very useful in many aspects of our lives, because in everything we do we always need motivation to achieve it. These two quotes say that, first of all, the most important thing is to believe in yourself and have in mind that you can do everything you want to, even in the worst situations, when it seems to be very hard, do not forget to believe in you. Everyone has to face with a lot of things that at the beginning seem to be impossible, but, as the second quote says, " you are possible" so you have to think that it is never impossible.

I personally use them both in a lot of moments every day. I recommend you always keep them in mind, even when you are just studying for an exam, and you are exhausted and you feel you will fail it, don't think negatively and try to make an effort to believe in your possibilities and be positive. Personally, my ambition is to work as a scientific researcher, so now and in the future, I will try to apply these two quotes in my life and never forget them because if I didn't think that way I would probably never fulfil my ambitions. I also suggest you always think positively because, at least in my case, I feel happier and  I have a better outlook on everything.

Really nice texts, Cecília! Well-written and interesting to read! Your two quotes are inspiring and definitely worth keeping in mind! Good job! :)

(And thanks so much for the link to the quotes. www.goodreads.com is definitely a site I'll be using in the future!)

I think Cecilia's quotes are really motivating.

I really like the second one, Audrey Hepburn's one, because it says that you are able to achieve whatever you want and that everything is possible, even though you think it cannot be. There may be harder things than others in life but that does not mean it is impossible!
That's why I really liked it.

In my opinion these two quotes are really optimistic.
I liked both but the fist one, Theodore Rossevelt's quote, in my opinion, is really realistic because the fisrt thing you have to do if you want to achieve something is believe in you, and then believe that you'll reach that goal, if you don't believe in yoursel you won't reach anything!!

If you don't believe in yourself, chances recede. A challenge can seem impossible, but if you make an effort why can't you achieve the goal?

I agree with both quotes but I really like the second one. Actually I always tell the people that nothing it is impossible if you want to do it. It will be more or less difficult, but you will always be able to do it.

I like both quotes but if I had to choose I would pick the first one. I really think that to believe in yourself is the most important thing, because the biggest motivation is the one that someone gives to himself. I always try to believe in myself and trust me, but when I'm collapsed I just think that nothing is impossible and that I can do it if someone else can do it, so that motivates me again and helps me keep fighting.

I believe that both quotes are really motivating and optimistic as Muntsa and Cèlia said because if you keep in mind that you can do it you will keep fighting and working for achieve it and in a future you will reach your goal. In conclusion, nothing is impossible.

I agree with Aurelia because I think the same. Nothing in life is impossible! There might be things more difficult to achieve than others but you always have to keep going.

I agree with both quotes: you can't give up on something without trying and, in most cases, if you work really hard eventually you'll achieve your goals. In my opinion these quotes are really inspiring, especially Audrey Hepburn's because she turned the word impossible into something positive and motivating.

I like both of these quotes.
As I see it, their message is that you can do anything if you believe in yourslef.
Nothing is impossible if you think you can do it.

I really agree with the second quote. Although it may seem a silly word game, someone can come up to multiple conclusions. The basic one which has come to my mind at first is that although the challenge or goal may seem really hard and far away from your possibilities, if you fight for it never is inachievable.

I strongly agree with both of you quotes! Moreover, I am delighted to notice a fairly resemblance between you and me: we both want to achieve the same ambition and we're motivated with the same type of quotes! Keep believing in you, and you'll be unstoppable!
