Berta Álvarez's quotes

The first quote I chose talks about forgiveness as there's nothing worse than that for your enemies. They just want you to get angry or mad at them but instead of doing this you're proving to be more intelligent forgiving them, showing so, that you have more important things to care about. For example, if someone's trying to bring you down by telling you disrespectful things or insults you or whatever, don't let them win, just face it, don't take a notice about it and smile; that kills them as they are not getting what they wanted.

If you want more information about the writer of the quote, check out this link!  http://es.wikipedia.org /wiki/Oscar_Wilde

The second one is Albert Einstein's. This quote talks about the power of imagination. There's no powerful power than the imagination, not even knowledge. In summary, intelligence is defined by the imagination you have. Nowadays imagination is the key for everything, companies actually look more your imagination than your knowledge. For example, when you apply for a job, there's a lot more people applying for it, you have to stand out and for doing it you may have to go for imagination and  make something imaginative like sticking your CV in the milk-karton and then they'll

be impressed of what you're capable of.

Here's some information about Albert Einstein! http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Einstein           .

Good job, Berta!

I strongly agree with both of your quotes. As you said, forgiveness kills your enemies, well, there's something else that drives them crazy, and that is ignorance. There's nothing more painful than being ignored. This shows that you don't care about the person, he/she does not even deserve one bit of your attention. To me, this is the worst revenge ever.

I definitely agree with you, Berta!

I mostly agree with you but in some things i disagree, as for example, that in the first quote you must forgive your enemies just so they get bothered, because in that case you are not really forgiving them, but trying to hurt them even more, and in the second quote I don't think that companies really look more at your knowledge than at your imagination because you may be imaginative but to make a rocket fly you need more than that, I think. Nevertheless, I agree with you that imagination should be more taken into account by other companies more based in imagination as being a writer, instead of just looking how many masters do you have.

Good point about the first quote, Aleix! About the second quote, I also agree with you up to a point, but it's true that in times like these, being creative and imaginative is paramount, as training and an educational background are basically just taken for granted!

I dont agree with any of your quotes, the first one it says that forgiving your enemies will annoy them, why would that happen? may be that shows you dont care about your enemy but I cant real see the point of that quote. The second quote says intelligence is imagination but I think thats for certain people because there's many types of intelligences.

the first quote it's a really good recomendation but i strongly agree with berta llanas there's nothing more painful than being ignored. the second one it's totally true, you can learn things and retain them but you can't learn how to imaginate.

Definitely agree with you, Lluís! You can't really learn to imagine! That's why creativity is probably the hardest thing to teach!

i completely agree with both quotes, as you said in the first one, it probably makes them feel mad if you just ignore them more than insult them. About your last one i actually believe what A.Einstein said, there's plenty of intelligent people whom intelligence is completelly hiden by their little imagination and creativy, and if you cant take profit of your intelligence it's like you dont really have it.

Mercè, what do you actually mean by "if you can't take advantage of your intelligence it's like you don't really have it"?

I love the first quote, but i disagree with the second one. I think intelligence and imagination are two totally different things.

Could you be a bit more specific, Dani?
